Yr 12 formal & More.

Sunday, April 4th, 2004

Friday Night was the class of 2004’s Yr 12 Formal. Held at “The Linkon on Toorak” it was a big success.
Had a great time with Michelle and the guys, and went on to JK’s after party where we had a bit of fun.

I ended up crashing there for the night, finally getting to sleep around 5am after talking most of the night away. we had a good night with most people enjoying themselves, with Kinsey by far having one of the best suits befit with top-hat monocle and cane.

Sunday was tempest Rehearsal @ HC which was good, giving a chance to generally chat and catch up with a few people, although the turnout was a little disappointing with both Kinsey and Stew not turning up.

One more thing: ITS THE HOLIDAY’S and that means a bit of a break, sleeping in late and not doing to much work.

Rehersals

Saturday, March 13th, 2004

Once again i wont be attending the Tempest rehearsal this Sunday. However this time it is due to transportation issues. Mum and Dad are up in bright this weekend and the only way that i could get there was via public transport. now in-order to achieve this feat of navigating our “Word Class” transport system i would have to catch 2 busses and a train.

Of which all times are designed to persuade the public from actually traveling anywhere on there service. Nothing is timed, it seams that trains arrive at stations and then the next bus to come throughout that station is in-fact in 45 minuets. God i cant wait until next year when i will be able to just drive myself there without the need of accompaniment by a parent who just so happens to be at-least 4 hours away from you for the weekend.

I sincerely promise that i will attend next week. Honest.

Of-course there is not all that much point in me being there this week anyway. Nothing has really started yet apart from the actors learning there lines and maybe the design of tickets(thanks Addo & Pant).

And as I once said to myself. “I would if I could, but I cant so I wont.”

on a lighter note. next weak is beginning to look like an assessment week.
With a Literature SAC on the Monday
and English (issues) piece coming up as-well

Back from the GP!

Sunday, March 7th, 2004

Well im back, after getting up @ 5:30am this morning to meet up with jan and catch the train im kinda tired. anyway the GP was good, to bad about Kimi Räikkönen Retiring. We ended up going General Admission and have vowed never to go GA again Stand or better it will be mainly because this year it was impossible to see anything at all that went on on the track.

As usual the Police were out in force, which i expect has more to do with free entry tickets than them actually being needed. i did not see one patron in need of police assistance and they just stood around like idiots watching the Races and talking amongst themselves.

I also came across 2 unmarked police cars one in St Kilda Rd and the other on Oliver’s Hill, in Frankston.
St Kilda: Holden SS Commodore 2003-4, Reg XXX-009, Dark Royal Blue
Frankston: Ford XR8 2003 Reg RVG-841, Deep Purple

At the end of the event we exited onto St Kilda Rd, and were meant to catch a tram to Spencer Street Station to get home. However when we got out the cues for the trams were huge so we decided to walk. all 5 or 6 k’s to the station. On our long walk back, which im sure added to my overall tiredness, we saw a man in a peculiar position up against some trees. Once we got closer we realized that this dirty old mad was taking a leak. with all of around 50 people walking on the pavement looking at him. it didn’t phase him one bit he just carried on doing his stuff.

Anyway im really tired, and victoria has invited some friends over for the night so im sure that i wont get all that good a night’s sleep, so the chances are that i will rock up to the Rehearsal for “The Tempest” just a little bit later than 10:00am.

Anyway I hope that everyone else has (or had) a good, enjoyable and relaxing long weekend.

Sorry, I was just “To Tired”!

Friday, March 5th, 2004

Well sorry about the lack of updates. I just could not be bothered with the start of school and its associated increase in sleep depravation. Anyway its a long weekend and i am not so tired any more. Last tuesday i went with Jan to the Melbourne Motor-show, yes i should have been in school but they were all swimming so i didn’t.

Today (Saturday), im of to Chadstone shopping for my sisters B’day and tomorrow (Sunday) i have tickets to the GP which should be good.

Also Apple seams to be doing very well for itself in the US. They have just announced, today that they have sold out of the iPod mini’s and there is a 3 week back order system now in place. When the pricing was announced back in December-January There was a general feeling that it was to high. However apple seams to have managed to price it right because they have been selling like hot-cakes mainly to teens and sporty professionals.

Just BACK From a week in Bright.

Wednesday, February 4th, 2004

Our house in Bright is coming along nicely. I have just spent a week up there away from all the mod cons (ie: internet & Lights), the house is not yet finished.
I managed to get onto the internet for 13 minuets at an internet cafe, with super fast 256k ADSL, thats fast for rural Australia.

were geting throught the painting and managed to borrow a scaffolding tower to help us paint the top of the external walls.

Anyway see the photo of the place to the left.

School : Back once again.

Sunday, February 1st, 2004

Well School’s back.

The work is already starting to pile up for this years 4 subjects.

Math’s Methods
Literature
English
Chemistry

I sould at the moment be reading the first of our books for Literature, “The Shark Net” by Robert Drewe.
However i already feel that i have left it to late to read the whole book this sunday.

I have also discovered Amazons Search within a book Function which has its uses in the literary world.

check out a search for “dog” here.

In other news the house is coming along nicely and we hope to have it finished in a short number of weeks, well everything except the painting that we ourselves have to do.

Anyway the second week of my last year starts tomorrow (monday) and i guess i should carry on reading the book.

PS: if anyone wants anything to look @ that is slightly interesting check out this site . It appealed to me last night after s bit to drink.

Also if you are in need of CD Cover art for Mp3’s and the like check out this tool. It link’s into the Amazon CD Database.

Trip to Hairdresser… Its My Time not Yours

Thursday, January 22nd, 2004

Went down to the Hairdresser’s today around 1:45pm and didn’t emerge untill around 5:15pm.

I set out to get a normal haircut.. just tidy it up a bit, and came home with highlights and foils in my hair..

While cutting my head of hair, it was suggested that i get some highlights in order to break up the single color of my hair. I took this advice on board and decided to take up the offer of highlights.

I am pleased i did, because they look sweet.

Even thought it took up my whole afternoon and i couldn’t get out for a ride, i was happy.

Around 5:30 i got a sms from eddie saying that he was picking up his new old laptop (for Uni in Tas.) asking if i had any software for it. He came over and i hooked him up. I hope that everyone thats going on to uni next year has a good and productive time.

Lazy Vacation Drawing to a Close.

Wednesday, January 21st, 2004

Yesterday i went up to Chadstone, for a spot of shopping, i ended up scouting my usual haunts like JB-HiFi, Sanity, Virgin & Borders, while picking up a new shirt from Rivers. While in Borders, looking at the MacWorld magazine i realised that there was a new Apple Store in Chadstone. This made my Day, i finished reading the mag in Borders and then went in search of this elusive Apple Centre that was only listed as being @ Chadstone.

And now for today:

Today like most other days i got up around 9:45AM, and begun my daily ritual of jumping onto my machine and surfing the web for around 45Minutes before having a shower and then going downstairs for breakfast.

However this morning it dawned on me that my holidays were fast drawing to an end and the start of my last year of school was to begin in a few days.

i decided that i would make today diffrent, i burned a cd of my latest aquasitions and jumped on my bike, for a nice little ride down to Mt Martha via Mornington Main Street.

I got back, had a shower and watched some tennis before deciding that my study was a hell of a mess, so my goal for tonight (21st) is to get the room in order, easier said than done.
