Lawn Chair Mafia.

Friday, September 24th, 2004

LawnChairMafia’s Gig at Robin Hood Tavern (Frankston). They would have to have been the best band that night, with he 2 hour set from the HelloBoobies or whatever’ being a total load of crap.

LCM is good, i hate to see them playing in places like last night, a total dump, Hopefully they will get picked up somewhere big and have an insane gig.

Keep up the good work guy’s.

End of Term Drinks.

Saturday, September 18th, 2004

Friday was the last day of term 3. So we decided that we really should do something to celebrate.

Rob, Kinsey, Liv, Aim, Hannah, Kara and Myself ended up seeing The Village by M. Night Shyamalan at Crown in Melbourne. Personally I felt that the film had something to it, none of that boring run of the mill Hollywood action crap, however it was just one big twist after another which after a little while became way to drawn out.

“LET THE BAD COLOR NOT BE SEEN. IT ATTRACTS THEM.”

After the film we headed out to The Lounge on Swanston Street for a few hours before residing ourselves to the trip home, back to Frankston on the train.

After managing to steal someone else’s taxi in Frankston we all pilled in and (excluding Dan and Hannah) headed back to Liv’s place for a few more quiet drinks and a good deal of Chat.

Liv and Aim retired to bed around 3am, having to get up in the morning and Rob Kara and Myself had a further chat, the highlight of which would have to be Rob’s drawings of Pingu and his smaller brother “Big Fuck Off Angry Eyes”.

Ended up heading of to bed around 5am, which would explain why I slept for a good few hours once i got home this-morning around 9:30am.

Till next time, Richie.

Interesting + Some Boredom…

Thursday, September 16th, 2004

An interesting read here. Basically it’s an article that looks at tricks of the trade in a number of professions. one of my favourites is “PEBKAC”

Ive been really really busy in the last few days, trial exams to contend with, holidays or “Swat Vac’s” as some call them coming up and the end of year 12 drawing closer and closer to reality.

Got a few things planned for this coming weekend, some of which will probably go ahead, and out of boredom i have created a few little Applescript utility’s that make life easier. (For all those of you not yet fortunate enough to own an apple, i am afraid my latest work will do nothing at all for you.)

TIll next time Have a good one, Richie.

One more thing: Have a great 19th B’day Scotty. (Get a Car!!! )

Trial Exams and Luck……….

Thursday, September 9th, 2004

Well i had my English trial Exam today. it was long, weighing in at 3 hours however i think i did well on it managing to write about 11 pages..

In other news im feeling lucky, i won a bottle of coke from a Ritchies 131st Birthday celebration Instant win Scrach-Card and i have Part 2 of my Math’s Methods trial Exam tomorrow. Ill need all the luck i can get for that one.

In other news ive been looking at cars, and have pretty-much come to settle on a Subaru. Although there is a little bit of a tossup between a Liberty or an Impreza around the 1998 Vintage.
