Mac OS X Tiger Will be Sick.
Last night Apple, in the keynote of the WWDC 2004 previewed the next version of Mac OS X “Tiger”.

To say the least it is going to be a killer of a release. The features that were previewed in Steve Job’s Keynote last night will do wonders to productivity for everyone everywhere.
Some of the new revolutionary features include:
Realtime meta-data searching built in. Allowing you to search every file on your hard disk in under 1/2 a second. much the same as is currently in itunes. This has ben dubbed “Spotlight” by Apple Inc. and is going to be so fucken sweet its not funny.
Another cool utility is going to be “Automate”, which is an application workflow creation suite. allowing you to automate tasks that would have taken heaps of repetition into one simple reusable workflow. Just give it the starting file and each step will be carried out on each file in turn.
to get the full Picture check out the Web Stream using Quicktime. Its kinda long but you can jump around in the stream using the progress bar to get to the more interesting bit’s if you must.
now to just go and find the developer preview on bittorent somewhere.

I must agree that the “”realtime meta-data searching”" sounds very sweet indeed. i hate waiting 5 mins for the Windows search…
