Rehersals

Saturday, March 13th, 2004

Once again i wont be attending the Tempest rehearsal this Sunday. However this time it is due to transportation issues. Mum and Dad are up in bright this weekend and the only way that i could get there was via public transport. now in-order to achieve this feat of navigating our “Word Class” transport system i would have to catch 2 busses and a train.

Of which all times are designed to persuade the public from actually traveling anywhere on there service. Nothing is timed, it seams that trains arrive at stations and then the next bus to come throughout that station is in-fact in 45 minuets. God i cant wait until next year when i will be able to just drive myself there without the need of accompaniment by a parent who just so happens to be at-least 4 hours away from you for the weekend.

I sincerely promise that i will attend next week. Honest.

Of-course there is not all that much point in me being there this week anyway. Nothing has really started yet apart from the actors learning there lines and maybe the design of tickets(thanks Addo & Pant).

And as I once said to myself. “I would if I could, but I cant so I wont.”

on a lighter note. next weak is beginning to look like an assessment week.
With a Literature SAC on the Monday
and English (issues) piece coming up as-well

Back from the GP!

Sunday, March 7th, 2004

Well im back, after getting up @ 5:30am this morning to meet up with jan and catch the train im kinda tired. anyway the GP was good, to bad about Kimi Räikkönen Retiring. We ended up going General Admission and have vowed never to go GA again Stand or better it will be mainly because this year it was impossible to see anything at all that went on on the track.

As usual the Police were out in force, which i expect has more to do with free entry tickets than them actually being needed. i did not see one patron in need of police assistance and they just stood around like idiots watching the Races and talking amongst themselves.

I also came across 2 unmarked police cars one in St Kilda Rd and the other on Oliver’s Hill, in Frankston.
St Kilda: Holden SS Commodore 2003-4, Reg XXX-009, Dark Royal Blue
Frankston: Ford XR8 2003 Reg RVG-841, Deep Purple

At the end of the event we exited onto St Kilda Rd, and were meant to catch a tram to Spencer Street Station to get home. However when we got out the cues for the trams were huge so we decided to walk. all 5 or 6 k’s to the station. On our long walk back, which im sure added to my overall tiredness, we saw a man in a peculiar position up against some trees. Once we got closer we realized that this dirty old mad was taking a leak. with all of around 50 people walking on the pavement looking at him. it didn’t phase him one bit he just carried on doing his stuff.

Anyway im really tired, and victoria has invited some friends over for the night so im sure that i wont get all that good a night’s sleep, so the chances are that i will rock up to the Rehearsal for “The Tempest” just a little bit later than 10:00am.

Anyway I hope that everyone else has (or had) a good, enjoyable and relaxing long weekend.

Sorry, I was just “To Tired”!

Friday, March 5th, 2004

Well sorry about the lack of updates. I just could not be bothered with the start of school and its associated increase in sleep depravation. Anyway its a long weekend and i am not so tired any more. Last tuesday i went with Jan to the Melbourne Motor-show, yes i should have been in school but they were all swimming so i didn’t.

Today (Saturday), im of to Chadstone shopping for my sisters B’day and tomorrow (Sunday) i have tickets to the GP which should be good.

Also Apple seams to be doing very well for itself in the US. They have just announced, today that they have sold out of the iPod mini’s and there is a 3 week back order system now in place. When the pricing was announced back in December-January There was a general feeling that it was to high. However apple seams to have managed to price it right because they have been selling like hot-cakes mainly to teens and sporty professionals.
